HBKA Library
Hexham Beekeepers has its own library of books that should be of interest to beginners and experienced beekeepers alike. The books range from guides and ‘how to’s, to biographies and information leaflets on topics from avoiding disease to making things with wax. Some of the books may be of particular interest to those studying the history of beekeeping, technologies and techniques. To borrow books you may do so by attending meetings of the association, where a selection of materials will be available, or contact the librarian, currently Paul Mingard on 01434 618146. The library may be visited, but only by appointment.
Returning books. If you have library books to return, please either bring them to a meeting, or call the librarian to arrange collection or return by post. Many books are in demand, so you may be preventing another member from borrowing a valuable resource.
