Meetings and Events 2026
Sunday 29 March 2026 – We will be holding a Frame Making Session at 2:00pm in Wall Village Hall NE46 4DX. This is suitable for beginners to learn how to make frames and provides us with a stock of frames for the forthcoming season. If you are able to bring a small hammer, pair of pliers, a strong bladed knife and a board to hammer on to, this would be helpful but not essential. Please contact beginners@hexhambeekeepers.co.uk to put your name down if you would like to attend.
Sunday 22nd March 2026 – A Theory for Beginners class will be held at 2:00pm at Wall Village Hall, NE46 4DX. There will be about two hours of teaching with a 20 minute break and plenty of time to ask questions and chat to the other beginners. We aim to finish by 5:00pm. This class is aimed at absolute beginners – but those who might want a bit of a refresher are welcome too. It aims to provide the basic knowledge you need giving you a “head start” for the practical sessions at the apiary. Please contact beginners@hexhambeekeepers.co.uk to put your name down if you would like to attend.
